Astrological Signs

There are 12 Astrological signs in western astrology, the astrological signs of the Zodiac can give us great insights into our day to day living and our personality as well as the many talents and special qualities we posses. You can discover a great deal of relevant information about yourself through reading about your and someone else astrological sign. Most of the people know about only Sun sign, but for indepth information about a person you must know the placement of other astrological signs in their zodiac chart.

Another way of classifying the astrology signs is according to their so-called quadruplicities or qualities. The three quadruplicities can be seen as different ways of being creative.

Cardinal Astrological Signs

The four cardinal signs of horoscope, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, have in common the impetus to initiate or create, or to counter one initiative with another.

Fixed Astrological Signs

The four fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, are inclined to sustain or stabilise what has already been created, or to resist or practise endurance in the face of another's initiative.

Mutable Astrological Signs

The four mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces, take what has been created and attempt to alter or adapt it.

If you were born on the first or last day of a Sun sign, in astrological terms you were born on a cusp. If that's the case, you will probably benefit from reading your own Sun sign and the Sun sign that ends or begins right before or after your date of birth. For example, if your birth date is 22 December, your astrological Sun sign is Capricorn, but you probably have some Sagittarian traits as well and you should consider reading about both sun signs.
